(Courses are also available at other locations by special arrangement).
 
Advanced Bush & Mountain (Backcountry) Flying Course:
Your own aircraft $980.00
Cessna 172C $1700.00
Cessna 170B $1800.00 (NOTE: Assuming you already have tailwheel experience otherwise you will first need to complete some basic tailwheel training.)
Basic Tailwheel Course:
Your own aircraft $75/hr flight instruction.
Cessna 170B $225.00 / hr dual only.
Ground school $60/hr
 
General Instruction:
Flight instruction $75/hr
Ground instruction $60/hr
Cessna 172C Dual $200/hr
Cessna 170B Dual $225/hr
FAA Biennial Flight Reviews (BFR) $60/hr ground instruction (1hr) + $75/hr flight instruction (1hr).
 
Accomodations:
If you attending a course at Pleasant Valley Airport, you can either to arrange own accommodation at a nearby lodge or B&B or, Pleasant Valley Airport also has full RV / Motorhome hook-ups and tent camping facilities.
Tent camping is $20/day (including your aircraft tie down) and RV/Motorhome hookup is $30-$40/day.
$50/ day includes all your food and drinks (breakfast, lunch, dinner including any alcoholic drinks).
 
Payments can be made by cash, Paypal, electronic funds transfer (EFT) or credit card and must be paid in full prior to the start of a course. A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm bookings. Wire/EFT payments should be made at least 5 working days prior to a course.
 
South Africa - Barberton Airport.
(Courses are also available at other locations by special arrangement).
 
Advanced Bush & Mountain Flying Course:
Your own aircraft $1100.00 NOTE. All pilots attending courses in South Africa must supply their own aircraft.
General Instruction:
Flight instruction $75/hr
Ground instruction $60/hr
FAA Flight Reviews (BFR) $60/hr ground instruction (1hr) + $75/hr flight instruction (1hr).
 
Accomodations:
Pilots attending the course at Barberton airport in South Africa all stay together in the Bush Air Lodge. Lodging, classroom and hangar is all in one building next to the runway. Lodging is $110 per person per day and includes all food and drinks (breakfast, lunch & dinner including all alcoholic drinks), Wi-Fi, Pool, Jacuzzi, laundry etc. (2 people sharing a room is $150.00 per day).
